Installing on Server2Go

Post by lfrazier »

Is it possible to install TimeTrex on a USB key with Server2Go

Website is at: www.server2go-web.de

This would assist me with demonstrating TimeTrex to an audience

I'm not familiar with Server2Go at all, but TimeTrex requires a database and write access to media, here is a quote from the first line of the Server2Go website:
Server2Go is a Webserver that runs out of the box without any installation and on write protected media.
Based on that, I would say no. But if there is a way to use writable media as well, then yes it should work.

It can run on writable media. However, I noticed a registry entry in Windows that was created by the TimeTrex installation. Can it run without that?
