Can TimeTrex handle login to multiple tasks simultaneously?

Manufacturing company. Many of our employees man multiple workstations
simultaneously, for example, a single employee might have jobs running on up to four rod EDM machines and five mini-mills concurently.

How would TimeTrex cope with this situation?

If it can, and a login or logout were incorrectly done, are the editting routines
smart enough to adjust the other jobs?

At this time TimeTrex does not allow employees to punch in to simultaneous jobs at once. Since employees themselves usually do not actually work on more then one job at a time, what we recommend customers do is create a "user" in TimeTrex for each machine.

The way this works is usually each machine would be assigned a barcode or iButton just like an employee is, then when the employee starts a job on the machine, they would use that machines iButton to punch in the machine itself. They would then use their own iButton to punch themselves in for that specific job too. As the employee moves between machines, they can punch in/out for jobs at each, but the machines themselves continue to bill time to their respective jobs. This way between shifts and such employees can punch out, but the machine itself can continue running and billing time to a job.

We find this method also simplifies overtime and premium time policies quite a bit.
