blank page on 4th step

i am getting blank page after clicking next button on my database configure file
what shall i do

i am using windows xp

php version 5.2

apache 2.0.59

and posgresql8.1

and i am getting errors in my timetrex logs are

I am also facing the same issue. The log looks the same as posted earlier.

Delete your timetrex database and re-install from scratch.

yes i deleted and again installed
but no result

it doesn't give any error on php error logs
but it give the same information on timetrex logs

I'm going to guess that you didn't properly delete the entire database, or that you attempted two installs one after another because it failed for another reason.

The only way you get a "table already exists" error is if the table already exists. The table can only already exist if it was created prior to the install and the install didn't complete successfully at some point.

Please post the exact commands you ran to delete the database and show SQL queries that you ran to confirm the entire database was deleted. Also post your timetrex.ini.php file.

hi shaunw

i am using commands to create data base

create user timetrex password 'ramakrishna'

create database timetrex with owner timetrex

after clinking next on my 4th step it doesn't create tables and it shows only blank page

u said first post then i deleted my database

drop database timetrex

drop user timetrex

then in my database exits only one user and one database

those are postgres user
and postgres database

still it give the same response

please help

Edit interface/install/DatabaseConfig.php and uncomment line 69:

Then follow the steps here

so that debugging is enabled and it displays all the output to the screen. Re-run the database config step again and post the output here.

from http://go-pear.org

and in my command prompt i gave the command
php go-pear.php

previously it executed but now it shows this type of error

finally my browser shows errors and there are no default values taken in database config fields

I too tried all that mentioned in the thread. I end with the same error as Rama ended up. Please help!!

I see Database Configuration page in this case(with all the fields blank).

hi

my problem solved

my entire configuration is correct

but the problem is timetrex

previously i used timetrex1.4.1

but now i used timetrex1.4.2

with out changing any thing in my system it runs

so

Thanks for all the help on this forum.
I could finally run TimeTrex.

The resolution was what Rama suggested upgrade from 1.4.1 to 1.4.2.
Just for curiosity, what might be wrong with 1.4.1.
