4th Page Problems

Hi All,

I am not having any luck installing TimeTrex on my CentOS 4.4 box.

I get to the 4th screen and the Database does get created but it will not go on from there. All I get is that TimeTrex is down for maintenance and if I try again I go to a blank screen.

I did have a working installation of 1.4.1 that I was using but was having orhter issues that we thought the upgrade may help.

I am unable to get 1.4.2 or 1.5 working.

Apache 2
PHP 5.1

Have you enabled PHP error logging and checked the error logs for any information?

The down for maintenance page usually means one of two things, either there was a SQL error of some sort, or a TimeTrex exception such as trying to save invalid data. You can tell by the URL of the down for maintenance page, it should have ?DBError or ?Exception on the end.

there is nothing in the PHP error log what so every. The last log entry was form this morning before I tried the upgrade / re-install.

So It appears to me that all the tables are not being installed even though they should be if the script is saying table does not exist.

That actually looks all normal. With MySQL all the *_seq tables are created as needed, but only after TimeTrex discovers the tables don't exist first.

The only thing that isn't normal is
(mysqlt): select name,value,id from system_setting where id = -1 FailTrans was called
But I don't see why FailTrans was called unless the system_setting table doesn't exist. Can you check that?

Did you create the MySQL user/database for TimeTrex as per
http://forums.timetrex.com/viewtopic.php?t=65 ?

Is it possible for you to try PostgreSQL as the database just to test?

Have you tried enabling query logging in MySQL and checking for any SQL errors?

Tried with Postgresql and it installed with no problems. Not going to tinker anymore with mysql and TimeTrex and going to leave it on Postgresql to run there.
