TT says Maint Jobs aren't running.. system says they are?!

Post by gbrann »

TimeTrex v3.4.0
Windows XP Pro
Windows Installer

TT is saying in the big bad red color "WARNING: TimeTrex maintenance jobs have not run in the last 48hours. Please contact your TimeTrex administrator immediately."

I check scheduled tasks and see this :

"timetrex_maintenance Every 1 Minute(s) from 7:39 PM for 24 hour(s) everyday... next run time 11:51 PM, last run time 11:50 PM." Clearing showing its running as planned.

I'm lost and confused. And payroll is Tueday. :| EK! Help?

The last run time doesn't necessarily mean they ran without problems. On the far right of the scheduled tasks window there is often a status code, what does that say?

I encountered this same problem last night. You might want to check the actual settings on the scheduled tasks as well as if the path to PHP is listed in the system variable "PATH". Another suggestion, and what I ended up doing on my system, is spacing out the scheduled job to 5 minutes instead of one minute.

(I thought I included this...)

Easy way to check the path is run a command prompt with elevated (administrative) permissions.

Type PATH on the line and look for your installation directory to your PHP (or the timetrex) folder.

Do you see it listed? ((If it's not listed, I'll show you how to add it for Windows... I'd do it now but it's not a simple setup :P))
