I have searched for this topic and only found one reference, but that was for a 12 MB file.
My database backups are over 520 MB in size and grow about 1 MB in size, per day. We utilize Time Trex only for being compliant with State labor laws (capturing time data for remote workers), not for payroll or anything else.
However, the entire Time Trex\postgres\data\base directory is only 351 MB in size?
Without deleting past employees or any time data, is there a way to reduce the size of the database, such as removal of white space? Or is there a DB rebuild function?
Thanks!
How can you reduce the size of the database?
Re: How can you reduce the size of the database?
The only way to really reduce the size is to delete data.
