I just installed TimeTrex and added users and policies as good as I understood the guide. Now, when a user clicks on In / Out the date and time are filled in with the system time but it is grayed out so they are unable to change it.
When you do an 'add punch' in 'mytimesheet' it works fine. Is there something in the policies ?
Employees can't change the date or time when using the punch in/out window.
If you want them to be able to set their own punch times manually, you will need to give them permissions to edit their own punches, then they can do it through the MyTimeSheet page.
Edit the permission group, then in the Display Permission drop down, select "Attendance", then go to the "Punch" section, and ALLOW Edit Own and Delete Own punches.
