Running TimeTrex in a debugging mode

Hi everyone,
I want to know is there a way that I could run TimeTrex in debugging mode... say like running a program in Visual Studio we could run a program in such a mode so that we could stop at necessary places and check how the program functions. Is there an IDE for such a purpose??
It must not be impossible.... and I'm not the first one to come up with such a thought I hope... so please if there is anyone out there who has figured out how... shed some light on this matter.... really grateful..
