Recalculate Employee

Our working hours have been reduced from 8 hours with Meal to 6 hours without meal.
We have rescheduled all employees as such.
However their old punches for 6 hour schedule still shows 1 hour Auto-Deduct of meal policy.
We thought that recalculating employee would remove the meal deduction but it did not. How can we set it as expected?

Did you remove the meal policy from the policy group for the employees before you re-calculated?

I would like to clarify whether Recalculating an Employee, recalculates his time for the current week or the current pay period?

The earlier issue mentioned has resurfaced as the employees who were scheduled for
8 hours with Meal (1 hr Auto-Deduct) --> 6 hours without Meal
are now back to 8 hours with Meal (1 hr Auto-Deduct)

So when we recalculate time the 6 Hour works get's an auto-deduct of 1 hour.
Kindly advise.

Recalculating occurs for the entire pay period.
