Salary Employees

Is there any way to automate an 8 hour workday for salaried employees? What I am looking to do is to automate salaried employee's timesheets. If they get called in after hours, we would like for them to also be able to clock in and out and have it automatically be overtime.

Yup, all you need to do it create a recurring schedule template describing the hours you want, then create a recurring schedule and enable "Auto Pilot" for your salaried employees.

This will tell TimeTrex to automatically punch those employees in/out based on their schedule. Any time after their schedule the employees can still punch in/out without a problem.

I tried doing this, but all I get is the schedule. It never updates my timesheet with these times.

Either you missed a setting, or something is wrong with your installation then. There is nothing special about auto-pilot, a single check-box should be all it takes to enable it.
