Reverting Back

Post by tshaw »

Ever since I have upgraded to 2.1.0, we have had all sorts of weird problems. Punches not show up as the correct times, taking longer to do things that used to work fine.

Is it possible to go back to 2.0.3 and if so what is the process?

You would have to restore from a backup made with v2.0.3 to do that. TimeTrex v2.1.0-final will be released this week, so you will have to upgrade eventually again anyways.

I think the issue is more your installation of PHP, not TimeTrex. The reason you are seeing so many more problems with v2.1.0 is because it simply exposes problems that were simply better hidden (but still existed) in v2.0.3, thats all.

If I recall you are using IIS in threaded mode, and not FastCGI. I would switch to using FastCGI or using Apache in process mode. Unfortunately PHP is just not designed to work properly in threaded mode and it will cause all sorts of weird issues for you regardless of what software you use.
