In Costa Rica, the Accrual for Sick Days gives employees 3 Paid Sick Days per year with no rollover. If an employee asks for more than 3 Sick Days per year they will be unpaid.
If we used Calendar Based Type Accrual Policies, will there always be a Milestone Rollover (Employee Hire Date or User Specified Date) or can the rollover be disabled? Is there a way to eliminate the balance by calendar years end and start again in 0?
Or would you recommend using Standard Type Accrual Policy and manually adding the balance in TimeSheet -> Accruals and eliminating available balance by calendar year end, to add another 3 days?

Accrual Policies and Milestone Rollover

You can use a single milestone that is active after 1 day then set the accrual total maximum to 3 days worth of hours.
This will let the employee accrue up to 3 days, but never more then that. However it won't reset to 0 at the milestone roll-over date, it will just continue accruing up to 3 days total.
So if on December 31st the employee has 2 days of sick time left, on January 1st TimeTrex may bump that up to 3 days, so they can use up to 3 days for the rest of the next year.
If they had 0 days left, it would put them to 3 days as well.
