Checking pre-flight requirements... 1... 2... 3... 4...You are currenting using PHP v5.4.6 TimeTrex requires PHP v5.3.x or earlier!

5... 6... 7... 8... 9... 10... FAILED!

Is this for real? I can disable it in installer.php, but I didn't what to do that until I was sure there wasn't a good reason to require 5.3.x or earlier.

thanks,
brian

Because PHP v5.4 breaks many things that used to work in early versions, TimeTrex does not support PHP v5.4 yet, though support is coming soon.

Any ETA on this?

php 5.4 has been out for a year. We upgraded to this a ways back because of a different project. Strangely enough this has not effected timetrex at all (which was originally installed under 5.3). Of course, it may mean that we are simply not using those features that would present a problem.

We are using mysql, which may make a difference too. Not sure though.

Ok, so now I'm getting a big red warning saying my version of timetrex is woefully out of date. I've downloaded the latest (5.3.3) and sure enough, it STILL doesn't work with php 5.4. Is there any sort of ETA on when this will be available for php 5.4? Or do you have a list of functionality that is broken with 5.4? Perhaps we can just avoid features that will break. Because of all the other software that requires 5.4 on our server we can't just roll back nor do I cherish the idea of trying to get two versions of php running.

We already have timetrex running with php 5.4 (the older version) because we upgraded to php almost a year ago not realizing that timetrex had this restriction.

TimeTrex v7.0 (due out in a few weeks hopefully) will officially support PHP v5.4.

If you change the URL to "License.php" rather than "install.php", you should be able to continue the install process.
