Training new managers on TimeTrex, I continually see them try to double-click on a table cell to try and edit the contents. Seems like this owuld be possible to implement without too much hassle?
(using editing a punch as an example)
If the cell is empty, user double clicks, it opens the new punch dialog, if the cell already has a punch, open the edit dialog...
Even better would be to bypass the new/edit dialog altogether and type a time directly in the cell, but I understand that would be: a) a lot more work... and b)could introduce all kinds of other unintentional issues/incorrect edits/no way to cancel out and leave it unchanged. So...
Double-Click to edit
Re: Double-Click to edit
Thanks for the suggestions.
Re: Double-Click to edit
I think this is a great suggestion. My first instinct when I need to edit something in Timetrex is to double click on the name or line that I need to edit. I would love to see this available to us in TT.

Re: Double-Click to edit
I second the suggestion.
It would definitely improve the user experience.

Re: Double-Click to edit
I was informed today that double clicking to add/edit/view records has been implemented in the next major release of TimeTrex, due out sometime in May.
