Sunday / Public Holiday working hours

Post by jeevan »

For Sunday and Public Holidays, I have the following time schedule which is a standard pratice in my industry for paying workers;

0800 - 1230 = 8 HRS
0800 - 1700 = 16 HRS
0800 - 1730 = 16.5 HRS

How can I implement these working hours so that when a worker works on Sunday or a Public Holiday from 0800 - 1230, timetrex will account that as 8 hrs?

Since 0800 - 1230 is only 4.5 hours, TimeTrex doesn't have any automatic method of changing that to 8 hours. What it does have is overtime policies that can be configured to pay the employee a higher rate of pay for the 4.5hours worked on this day. For example their regular wage * 2.0.
