I need some help creating Overtime Policies to capture the following scenario:
Day Shifts:
MON - THU: 07:50 to 17:10 (with 30min break) = 8:50 hrs
FRIDAY: 07:50 to 17:00 (with 30min break) = 8:40 hrs
Night Shifts:
MON - THU: 18:00 to 02:50 (no break) = 8:50 hrs
FRIDAY: 18:00 to 02:40 (no break) = 8:40 hrs
- Overtime is calculated daily
- Weekly total = 44hrs
- Monday to Friday overtime rate is 1.5 normal rate
- If an employee gets assigned the night shift on Friday, having covered all 44hrs for the week, then the entire shift is overtime.
- Saturday is overtime all day at 1.5 normal rate.
- Sunday & holidays are overtime all day at 2.0 normal rate
I'm having a hard time structuring the overtime and premium policies to satisfy the above.
