Over 16 hours?

I need to edit an employees hours but it gives me an error saying they cant have more than 16 hours in a day...
How do I get around that? Is there a setting I can change?

You can increase the Maximum Shift Time for your Pay Period Schedule by clicking Payroll -> Pay Period Schedule. From the list that appears click the Pay Period Schedule that you want to change so that it's highlighted in blue and then click the Edit icon. From the inset page that appears click the Advanced tab and from there you can increase the Maximum Shift Time to resolve your issue. Click the Save icon to save your change.
