TimeTrex Time and Attendance

I am interested in TimeTrex. I was reading somewhere, can't remember, that it is beneficial to separate payroll from the accounting software. What exactly are the benefits of running both software together rather than running accounting and payroll completely in Quickbooks?

Both methods have their advantages and disadvantages, having more functionality in one system is often easier as you don't have the hassle of exchanging data between multiple systems.
