External time clocks with Community Edition

Dear all,
Does anyone know if external time clocks can be used with the community edition? I've tried to find out online but most solutions seem to require the paid version of TimeTrex.

TimeTrex Professional Edition and above only supports the hardware that we sell at our Online Store:

Thanks Shanec for your response. We currently are using the Community Edition. What 3rd party time clocks can be used with that version?
