My boss wants to know if we can set up TimeTrex to require an employee's supervisor to approve a timesheet.
If we can how does that get set up?
And how does the supervisor approve the timesheet?
Thanks

what if the employee is on vacation and can not verify their timesheet, how does the system work then?

The timesheet verification system at this time is designed to be employee initiated for purposes of providing an audit trail and something that can stand up in a legal sense if a dispute is ever brought up between the employee and employer over their timesheet.
As such, having anyone other then the employee verify the timesheet would be a strict violation of this process and would obviously compromise any legal standing that the employer may have.
This is why the system is designed in such a way that the employee has to initiate the verification process and supervisors can either authorize or decline said verification. If the employee happens to be away, they can't verify their timesheet and it will go record as being that way, this is by design.
We realize this may not suit all companies, so we do have it on our roadmap to add an option so this feature can work both ways, employee initiated, or supervisor/manager initiated.
