Comma in input fields.

Post by pkonderla »

Hello, seems to absence input field in timesheet can manage (and translate to hours) decimal values too...

I'ts really usefull feature, but would you disable/rewrite comma please?
Now 3,5 is translated to 35 for example.

Your time unit format is set to HH:MM, however you are trying to enter it in a different format (comma separated). Please go to MyAccount -> Preferences and set the proper time unit format that you prefer to use.

Hello, thanks for your response...
But, I'd like to say what happend when TYPO happened. Now it's allowed to put anything in this field and it's somehow silently used ... no warning.
Usually people don't type letters in(yes it's possible - try "6xyz"), but dot/dash may happend easily - in this case replacing is better option than removing (in case of 3,5 you end up with 35 hours with no warning).

cheers
Petr

ps: is there any way to offer code "improvement" for main branch? Now we fix this small things ourself but in case of upgrade we will need to do it again...
