help me!!!!

hi all
I have downloaded a demo version of TimeTrex and I am configuring it for a test environment. I am having an issue with wage groups. When I am configuring employees and I click on "payroll" it says the employees are not in a wage group and therefore will not show any earnings. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the employees in the wage group!
I must be missing an initial setup piece. Could you guide me in the right direction. Thanks for your help.
