Currency format comma period

This may be answered elsewhere in forums, but search is not working today (just hangs or says not available at this time).

Need to print paystubs in Spanish, but have currency format have comma as thousands separator and period as decimal separator. Currently if language spanish is inverse.

Also any date format with month in words ie Feb not 02 has month capitalized. In Spanish months are all lowercase.

ver 11.5.1

Thanks,

Gregory

The currency format is controlled by your operating system locale. What operating system/version do you have TimeTrex installed on, and what country is the employee in?

Helps, but do not see link between TT and locale.

Running Ubuntu 16.04, locale on server is set to en_US.UTF-8 for all LC_ settings except LC_ALL and LANGUAGE which are empty. Locales available on server include es_DO.UTF-8 which is what we want.

In TT only see country setting for employee in contact info and is set for Dominican Republic. Only other TT country related settings for employee can find are time zone (Set to America/Santo_Domingo) and Language (set to EspaƱol (UO)).

What step are we missing?

Thanks,

gregory

If you check the TimeTrex log file, it will confirm the exact locale being used for each employee when they view their pay stub. Your only choices from there is to choose a different locale somehow (though short of changing the language or country this is difficult) or change the specific locale settings in the operating system to be what you want. I'm not aware of any way to customize the currency format outside of modifying the locale at the operating system level.
