Is there an announce mailing list for when new versions are available?

If not, this is a request for one!

If so, how does one subscribe?

Yes, go to this URL:

Then click the little "letter" icon to monitor the package that you want, you will be alerted when there is a new version.

TimeTrex itself also notifies you automatically when a new version is available by placing a red flag near the Help option in the menu along the top of the page. Under Help -> About there is a "Check For Updates" button as well.

The check for updates unfortunately doesn't work behind a proxy.. is there a place to put proxy configuration?
