Total Hours Calculated Incorrectly

When printing the timesheet, I noticed that the hours are not correct.
If you add each of the hours for the day, the total is different them what's calculated on the timesheet.

Add up the worked times for October 2nd - October 8th.
When added with a calculator, it comes out to 37.91 hours.
However, as seen on the attachment below, the total at the bottom shows 38.31 hours.
This is obviously incorrect.

How can this be fixed? The payroll department has had to add these manually, which is very inefficient and should be done by the system correctly.

You may be confusing time-based calculations (:) with decimal calculations (.). For example in the image of the printable timesheet that you provided the Regular Time total is 38:31 or 38 hours and 31 minutes.

To change the Time Units in your Preferences click My Account -> Preferences
